Sip & Dip with Kelocabay & Brooklyn Kura
Sip on American craft sake and dip into the world of indigo dyeing!
Join us June 8th or June 9th for our first sip and dip event at the taproom!
Learn about Indigo Vat dyeing and make your own indigo dyed scarf with Kelly Bahash from Kelocabay. We will use an organic Indigo fructose vat to create shades of blue. Students will learn about the Indigo vat making process and resist techniques to create pattern on cloth. Each student will have time to explore, create and play in the Indigo Vat. An organic cotton scarf and test fabric will be provided. Please wear studio clothes you don’t mind getting Indigo stained during class.
Each participant receives one glass of sake with workshop purchase!
